Staten Island Mall hosts 4th Annual Home Improvement Expo The Staten Island Mall is hosting the 4th Annual Home Improvement Expo Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22. (Staten Island Advance/Andrew Simontacchi) STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The National Association of the Remodeling Industy (NARI) in conjunction with Staten Island's Home Improvement Contractors (HIC) are holding a free event this weekend to feature contracting and remodeling vendors at the Staten Island Mall. The exhibition, which ran already on Saturday and continues Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will provide homeowners an opportunity to meet with a variety of NARI-HIC remodeling and service professionals. Visitors will be able to meet with experts in heating and air conditioning; concrete and pavers; plumbing; flooring; lighting; security systems with monitoring; home additions; kitchen and bath; roofing and siding; windows and doors; insulation; screens; fencing; decoration, and more. "The Home Remodeling Expo Staten island commercial contractor gives homeowners a one-stop learning and shopping experience," said Butch Galante, president of NARI-HIC.
